Working together to make a real difference

November 2017

  • The existing OT Teams (NHS Hospital and LA Community) took steps to blend into one OT Service to try and streamline referrals, reduce waiting times, avoid duplications, focus on early interventions, prevention of admission, supporting discharges whilst maximising/maintaining personal and social independence for the people we work with.
  • Aiming for our future service to become more integrated with an increasing focus on community in reach and outreach.
  • Overall working in my organisation is a 6.20.

iMatter results 2018

  • highlighted anxieties re: being clear about role,
  • feeling appropriately trained, being listened to, being supported and appreciated.
  • Overall working in my organisation is a 6.71.

iMatter results 2019

  • showed improvements in nearly all areas across the OT Service
  • particularly feeling informed, skills appropriately developed, more clarity about roles,
  • being appreciated and feeling part of a team.
  • Overall working in my organisation is a 7.15

Next steps

  • results highlighted that staff want to be more involved in decision as we move ahead.
  • Service meeting planned to look at future service developments and how we can all be involved in achieving these.
