NHS Forth Valley - Operational HR Senior Recruitment Process

Following the requirement for the recruitment of several senior positions within the Organisation in 2021, the need for a Senior Recruitment Process was recognised to ensure consistency and fairness across the Organisation.

 

HR Operations drafted the template process and, with teamwork, support and input from Recruitment and A/D of HR, this process was agreed and included detailed procedures and templates required to follow due process in accordance with DL 2018(10). 

 

The Senior Recruitment Process is not a simple task and includes the procedures and templates required from advert and selection through the engagement event and psychometric testing.

 

The process implemented by NHSFV has been a great success and many candidates, successful or not, have commented on how much they enjoyed participating.

 

Having a detailed, written process in place ensures that all high-level Recruitment is carried out to a high level across the Board.
